Permanent Alimony in Mutual Consent: In case of mutual consent divorce the wife may seek permanent alimony for the rest of her life as accepted by the husband. A lump sum amount is given as a alimony for the survival of the wife.
Permanent Alimony in other case : The court can order permanent alimony to the wife when their matrimonial status is affected by the order of the court such as divorce, Judicial separation or Restitution of conjugal rights.
Monthly Maintenance : On refusal of the husband to maintain a wife and her children the wife can get maintenance amount to an extent of 25 percent of the husbands income. The maintenance amount will be decided on calculating the husband’s income and the life style of the couples when they lived together.
Child Maintenance : The Child is eligible for the maintenance for his food, education, health and other reasonable expenditure from the father.
